Pure-blooded rock and roll shrouded in a noir persona, DC Wolves is a New England quartet that sprung from the solo project of frontman, Dan Cahill. Since founding DC Wolves in 2016, during which time Cahill teamed up with guitarist John Porter, drummer Joe Brun, and most recently, bassist Shawn Costa, the band has released two studio albums, an EP, and a split EP, and they are currently working on their next full-length release.
Pulling from both the mainstream rock classics every kid cuts their teeth on and the nuanced rock that he discovered and fostered along the way — the organic flavor of stoner rock, the sonic depth of post-rock, and the raw delivery of the early grunge movement — DC Wolves is a statement of ingenuity, an account of exploration, and above all, a personal challenge to unearth every corner of music as an expeditioner of one’s own capabilities.
